We started as a group with only one thing in common.

All of us were writers, most of us working for the same video game company as contract, or “at-will,” employees. As we bonded over our shared experiences, we realized what a vast wealth of talent we possessed. We wanted to create an environment where that talent could grow and spread, and that’s exactly what we intend to do.

We’re also focused on increasing transparency in the game industry about writing, especially contract writing. We advocate for clearer pipelines, better conditions, and fair pay, and we hope to connect writers who can support and educate each other in a field that often undervalues our work.
