RubyConf 2004 Keynote - Brad Cox
Updated 07 Aug 04

Ruby Central, Inc. is pleased to announce that the keynote speaker for the Fourth International Ruby Conference will be Brad Cox, inventor of the Objective-C language. Brad will speak on "The History and Design of Objective C".
Brad's interests are in digital rights management, reconceptualizing universities as interactive distributed learning communities, and software engineering. Most of his recent work is in XML, Java, Ruby, Python and Perl. Before those, he mainly used the language he invented early in his career, Objective-C.

We are thrilled to have such an expert in dynamic languages give us an important historical and theoretical perspective.
