... Payment Processors aren't associated with progressives or leftistis, even a little???? And the Australian group was genuinely a right-wing group using the label of feminism to even a cursory examination of their actual positions and what they'd done in the past? Not even stretching, they've "mysteriously" been on the right-wing side of every cause they've been involved with ... Have you considered, y'know, not weirdly blaming anyone to your left because you don't want yo take responsibility, then projecting that issue on your opponents? (Also, we did acknowledge that the UK laws are driven by sex-negative feminism, so... we apparently can take responsibility, even in the post you replied to saying we can't?)

Like you said, dodging accountability is gross. (Also, why not mention that Payment Processors have tried to crack down on porn since *before* the incident with the Australian right-wing "Feminist" group?)

Also, just gonna say, if you don't wanna associate with "progressives," touching this game is not a great idea. The creator doesn't actually agree with your politics just 'cause it makes your dick hard.

{Rei} It looks good, but as an R-Type fan, froms the playthrough we watched, it kind ofs disappoints Rei that it ends more happilies than most R-Type games from Delta onwards, which usuallies had at least one ending (and oftens multiple, ors the only ending) where the protagonist dies ins the process of defeatings the Bydo, ends up trapped ins the Bydo Dimension, or is assimilated by the Bydo. (Also, the gameplay looks closers to a horizontally-scrollings Velocity, which isn't bads, but does strikes Rei as an interestings choice in a game deliberatelies named for R-Type) Anyway! Rei should probablies try it! (Technicallies, the tradition ofs downer endings was started withs the Hard Mode ending fors R-Type Complete CD, which also appears to be the canonical ending fors the originals R-Type, or at leasts the closest released to canonical, since Delta picks up froms the R-9A froms the first game not havings returned originallies, and beings found withs a hidden Bydo infestation.)

Sorries, Rei started ramblings a bit theres.

Are you supposed to feel like the Archbishop is worse than Dagon? Because when we played (need to purchase, had it off of game pass for a bit), that was our read. Dagon is a sinister eldritch being, but seemed to be perfectly willing to hold up the "Peace and prosperity in exchange for occasional human sacrifice" deal. The Archbishop's the one who decided to break the deal and try to save his own skin without any real regard for anyone else that might suffer for it.

We still kind of wish this had gotten developed more. It's interesting and we'd absolutely play it if we thought we could find a group that'd be up for it.

It was to make it more okay under UK law, which does, in fact, suck, but is a different thing than the PayPro issues.

(The PayPro thing is garden-variety conservatism, the UK law was more driven by sex-negative feminism.)

The name change wasn't payment processors, it was backers not wanting it to be associated with what's mostly a transphobic slur. (The game's actually got a pretty big trans fanbase!)

{Rei} Ohhhhs, Rei was considerings requesting a streamings key since she's been wantings to stream some 2DSTG, buts Woovit is down for good nows. >T-T<

Our mushroom headmate is sad we missed the free community copies, being kinda poor, and not being sure we can afford a paid version in the immediate.

Appreciate the cute mousegirl familiar already, but gonna keep looking at it~

Bunch of broken inline images, and not sure if they're broken on purpose because that's the kinda thing we'd expect from something based on a Heather Flowers game?

Did you have other games besides these two, or are we remembering wrong?

Which version is the more recent? *Slightly confused.* Anyway, it's neat and we should play it more.

The website's gone down, domain looks expired or disconnected from the site somehow.

{Esther} Your first post was being mad because others disagree with you. This entire thread has been you being mad others disagree with you.

{Esther} You really, really don't.

{Esther} And you can be a decent person instead of a poorly disguised pile of toxic, misformulated compost. You go first!

{Esther} Have you considered visiting reality? It's quite nice!

Wish we could play a mousie-squeak, or mousie-cow hybrid. (on account of multiple of us being mice or mice hybrids) Maybe there's mods for that?

EDIT: Found an old-ish one (Maybe two) for a Rat species, at least.

Megan is on the list, but Toy is guessing Toy isn't.

... what is this satirizing?

The increased rate of IQ pool loss does make the endgame shorter, but it has some issues, like ending up with negative IQ Pots and making winning a game without basically being a bimbo yourself extremely difficult unless you knock out all your opponents almost simultaneously, which is... rare. (Which... hot, but also kind of undermines the point for the characters)

Good to know! *Offers a frog, and some cookies.*

Weirdly nice of the sinister boob-witch trying to recruit an apprentice to gain power from the Old Gods to make you leave if you say you're any age under 18. (We know it's just supposed to be a player age verification thingie, but it's kind of funny in the context of the actual narrative that this clearly amoral witch-thing that has no problem merging your mind with an undead knight based on nothing more than a "yes" to a vague question cares about that.)

Not sure if it'd help, but it's an idea, at least. Trying to think of any other suggestions.

a) Is the game still being developed at all? Would love to see a full version, but understand things happen.

b) Is Franae a pre-existing character, or someone you made up for the game?

c) ... This doll forget if it had a C.

We'd love to see new updates, but understand that stuff happens.

There are ways to extract the project data from the packaged release, though not sure that would cover everything. Still, thank you!

What's the Old Renderer version about?

It's fun and good, but Toy is a little disappointed that basically everything new and unique about the battle system is on the enemy side so far.*Wiggles!*

Hrm... had this version  at one point, but it disapeared off the drive at some point? *Confused squeak.*

Okay, know this is a serious necro, but does 2 mean Richard eventually has more depth than “The Creep who Drove a Woman to Suicide”? One of this doll’s major sticking points with getting into the game was that he was just too vile to root for, even for the sake of some fun corruption.

We're admittedly a bit curious about the card mechanics here. Does it accurately simulate a deck or decks? If so, how many decks in the shoe? (It has to be more than one, as we've seen the same card appear more than once in the same hand) Does it shuffle after each game, or only when it empties?

Have explored more, and it seems to happen any time you start a new game without exiting the game first. (Changing settings might affect it, will need to test)

The last time, hitting did actually cause it to recalculate to the correct value, though this isn't an option if it incorrectly calculates you as having busted.

It keeps calculating my initial score wrong if I start a new game directly from winning or losing previously.

I bought this game back when it was $3.00 on a 50% off sale, nearly a year ago... but with the price for the full version now being $10, I no longer have access to the full version, just the demo.

I'd be willing to help, except:

a) ADHD

b) I don't think my erotica writing or style imitation skills are anywhere near the level necessary to not make it jarring.

(1 edit)

Yeah, that kind of sucks for my low-depravity run, though, since I got a level by accident because I didn't replace my miniskirt with something more modest before... either the bra or the cursed heels. Still, there are ways to lower the weakness effect level through purity skills, so that's something.

The alleys seem... very badly broken at the moment, or else something is messed up with my installation. The walls aren't solid until you navigate around the pair -- just the blackness -- and the scene you're supposed to get the first time you approach them didn't trigger for me until I tried going through a second time. (And trying a third time, after sleeping, the pair are still there and I got groped by one of the guys again... though maybe that's 'cause I didn't do anything with Ami?)

EDIT: Also something feels like it's up with Mia and Ami. Their names are anagrams, they run perverted and innocent versions of the exact same business, and their facial features and eye colors are similar enough they could pass for twins. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but if it turned out they were actually twins, or that Ami was Mia while under the effects of some kind of curse, I would be... extremely unsurprised.
EDIT 2: Geez, I hope if I called it, you're not the kind of writer who feels like they have to change plans or twists if someone guesses them in advance.

EDIT 3: ... What is the Sheer Skirt/Blue Detached Sleeve Blouse outfit a reference to? At first I thought Mima, but not only does it not quite line up with her outfit, that's a heck of a deep cut for a random outfit in the game.

EDIT 4: Well, second guess was a dud. The God of Wind reference made me think of Annet Myer and El Viento, but it's an even worse match for that one.

EDIT 5: ... Wait, even as a blind guess, why the heck did I consider Arle Nadja?

Thank you very much. *She bows.* It was 3 and 4 that I was having trouble finding.

{Esther} Well, whichever god you follow, they seem to be malicious and enjoy fomenting hatred of people for existing. I would be curious about which one it is, though, as I still have limited knowledge of this world's religions.

{Tamamizu} I would like to fill your sock drawer with vermin, but I am afraid I cannot at the moment. I apologize, I will get to you with appropriate and well-deserved vulpine mischief as soon as possible.
