The ROUVY Group has announced that it will merge BKOOL into the ROUVY app and wind down the operation of the BKOOL app on 30th November 2025. Following the acquisition of BKOOL earlier this year, ROUVY entered a strategic learning period to evaluate users needs, platform reliability, and long-term sustainability.
ROUVY has since concluded that continuing to operate BKOOL at a level which meets the expectations of the community and remains financially sustainable isn’t possible. To serve the global indoor cycling community better, the company has made a strategic decision to focus fully on further developing the ROUVY app, while integrating selected technical capabilities from BKOOL into the ROUVY platform.
Existing BKOOL users will be offered a seamless transition to ROUVY with uninterrupted service.
ROUVY expects that around 20 % of BKOOL employees will have an opportunity to transfer to The ROUVY Group to further accelerate integration of BKOOL’s unique features into ROUVY. Those not transferring will be supported in their career transition through dedicated assistance. All employees have been notified of these changes in advance.
