I read the criticism for this release and I don't think the scene was rushed. In fact, I think that the whole story lead you to a moment like this. Maybe i'm wrong, but I believe that Haruki uses his body and sexual appeal as a way to deal with his homosexual toughts in the worst way possible. He KNOWS Yuu is into him and to deal with those thoughts he uses his body to make fun of his feelings, in a "if I do this only to tease him i'm still straight, thats not gay". I thought the whole scene would lead to a kiss but in retrospective, that would not go with his character.
Think about it, whats the most unpersonal thing he can give to Yuu, not his mouth or ass, neither having s3x with him outright, all those things would be too personal, too emotional. The scene leaves you with a "im only using you, I don't have feelings other than seeing you as less than me" and "its head so its not gay" logic. He is a very conflicted character that wasn't going to give us the "slow burn into kiss" type of romance. But, although I say that I believe all the scene was made according to the character I think two things have to be integrated into the story: (i) Haruki feeling actually sorry and regretting the way he made the first sexual interaction; (ii) Yuuichi giving himself enough respect to say when and how they have intercourse. Anyways, great release, a lot of bittersweet feelings with this one, let's hope the story develops in a way that can resolve this points and specially try to tackle the "im not gay bro im just making fun of you" and the "i actually i'm like a human being that can make decisions for himself".

I don't think the problem is Ben wanting to have casual sex, I think the real problem and why I personally dislike Bryan's route is that Ben DOESN'T want that. This route makes you feel bad because you know that in the end Ben just wants to be with Bryan in a closed relationship and is willing to do everything he does just for the chance that he will change his mind, he's betraying himself trying to be like Bryan. In my opinion I think that Bryan's route should never even give you the option to be with him, something like Leo's route from Echo, he is not good for Ben and I think that either being alone or with Kane would make such a better option for him, being with him is the actual bad ending.
So basically, I was reluctant to try this VN because I thought ''a human MC, this is gonna be some cliche I woke up with a hot furry bf and some evil guy appears'' BOY WAS I WRONNGGG. Not going to spoil anything but this has to be the most engaging VN I played since the Smoke Room, Echo and Burrows. I actually felt the terror on the MC when a certain event happens, I have to thank you for being able to experience this VN.
