hi! i’m scareoset (aka dani), a queer and trans game designer and educator based in the bay area. i am a lesbian vampire expert and excel at being cringe online and in person! >:3
i currently lecture for the art & design: games & playable media ba program at uc santa cruz and work part-time at a local bookstore in the south bay.

faqs
what do you do?
by day, i’m a lecturer, game designer, and researcher! i teach college and high school students about game design and offer them guidance and support with game projects. by night, i sell used and new books at my local indie bookstore. in my spare time, i design interactive media art (usually tabletop role-playing games, interactive fiction pieces, and other assorted games).
why are you so cringe?
because i am free. :3
why is everything in lowercase?
i stylize my work in lowercase because i feel that it makes the tone more casual and accessible! :)
