wait nevermind I found how to go passed it. I don't know why it took me so long to look at the bottom of the map

the ravine outside the wall in the woods. There's a part where the MC encounters a bridge that's broken. 

Can someone tell me how to get past the ravine? I am stuck at this part. Because I need to figure out how to get past the ravine the game won't let me go to the town unless I figure out how.
