Discord has more discussion on development, mostly by players of game, though. Developer writes sometimes there, too.
I guess developer is very busy developing, to make up for lost time during spring when developer was moving house.
See this answer from last week:

(Or scroll down until discussion about lockdown.)
But it says it’s missing a line.
What says what is missing a line? The error message you showed (three times) is about syntax error. That error usually happens when Python 2 code is being run on a Python 3 runtime.
I downloaded the most recent version.
Most recent version of what?
If it is Joiplay or Renpy Plugin, like I wrote twice you should not download the latest version but version 7.7.1.
So you are playing on Android? My guess is you did not install version 7.7.1 of the Renpy Plugin. Do the install again with that version, then it works.
More info on the FAQ page in the Wiki and FAQ channel in Discord.
I noticed you asked the same thing 15 days ago, and I answered then same way I answered now. What happened? Did you not use Renpy Plugin version 7.7.1? To find where you can download it, see FAQ page in the Wiki.
Translations are done by volunteers, if you want better translations you can offer your help to the translation team. I assume translation teams can be contacted in Discord.
Spanish translation is known to be incomplete, I have heard there is new team doing a new translation. Hopefully it is available in the next version of this game.
There is info on the FAQ page in the Wiki.
Trying again tomorrow should help with the too many people downloading thing.
In what way is Mediafire failing? If the download works at first but then cuts off, try continuing the download from where it left off. See instructions on managing download for your browser.
Also, make sure there is enough free space on disk, this game is 13 GBytes.
There are download links also on Patreon and Subscribestar, but I believe it is the same links as here.
What happens when the download fails? Any error messages? How are you doing the download?
Maybe try again tomorrow, sometimes there are transient errors.
Note that Itch.io app does not work for this game since version v0.19.x.
Developer is more active on Patreon and Discord.
Latest post on Patreon was on Valentines day.
On Discord there are posts from last Thursday.
I read rumor developer had issues that prevented working, and is back developing game in May. I can not verify this is true.
I realised developer wrote here on Itch.io 13 days ago:
It is indeed. I am in the middle of moving countries. Apologies for the delay, I was not planning on this.
Wasn’t the game about 12GB for Android? Or I was hallucinating?
There is no Android version of this game. There used to be, when it could be made smaller than 2GB. Currently game is 13GB. Game can be played on Android with emulation, see above on this page “How to play on Android” and FAQ page in the Wiki.
Or now it’s a browser?
No browser.
OK, now it is clear.
You can not remove any of the .rpa files. When doing the update using the patch .zip, the new files overwrite the old or it is a new .rpa. The .zip has README file inside that tells how to do the patch.
Version v0.19.1 has 17 .rpa files in the game/ subdirectory. They are all needed.
If your current version of game is v0.18.1 or older, you must install the older patch files first. Patch files for v0.1.16 and older are available from developers Patreon, just scoll old messages until old enough items appear.
It seems downloading this large game is problematic for quite a few users.
Perhaps offering a Torrent link for download has been already considered and rejected? It would help if net keeps disconnecting, I believe it can continue from where download was interrupted. It would also scale when new version is publised and umpteen thousand gamers download at the same time.
One hack I invented myself would be splitting game to smaller pieces. The big pieces of the game are the .rpa files in game-directory. Offering them as separate .zip files would mitigate the problem of one huge > 13GB file and interrupt during transfer. The largest .rpa is v09.rpa, 3.2 GB. Putting the > 0.9 GB files each to its own zip and collectin the smaller .rpa files to about 1 GB files would make about 10 .zip files, and then the rest of the game the 11th. So user would need to do 11 separate downloads and unzip them manually. Maybe this could be tried and see if it helps gamers with slow of flaky connection.
There is also Itch app, which no longer can download HH since version 0.19, when game is only on third party websites and not on Itch.io. This is a hurdle for those accustomed to the easy game install and update using the app. I do not know what to do about this except upload game also to itch.io.
could you please upload the game to transfer.it for download? my internet is slow
From what I can find out from the Interwebs, transfer.it is a service provided by Mega. But I do not know in what way it differs from ordinary Mega.
But I do not see how it would make your Internet faster whatever it is that transfer.it does.
How slow is it? With 10Mbit/sek bandwith, your download would have finished by now if you started when you posted your question.
Have you tried both of the download sites from the “Download” -section above?
You do not say on what platform you play.
If you are on Android, you must copy the save files somewhere, and then copy them back to the new version.
On other platforms continuing just works unless you go and delete the save files yourself.
