Got another thing off my to-do list! It's based on a scene from Soul Hunter (iykyk), except I wanted Talos explaining it to Eurydice instead of Septimus (because I wanted that final panel). Will still need to do proper art of First Claw someday.
Tried playing around with a style I could use to render these quick, but still make it look good… for future comic projects! Used a hard brush for the linework, and went straight to colors after. Process on my artstation!

This is another visdev painting for my personal gamedev project, The Wishing Stone! It’s also a new portfolio piece. This time, I wanted to prove I can paint complex, character-focused story moments, color keys, illustrations, etc. I decided to challenge myself with an action scene. I also including some environmental storytelling as well, which I’ll leave to your interpretation. (Much of the game will be about uncovering secret lore, so I don’t want to explain too much! 😉)
Anyway, this painting took several weeks to complete and I’m happy how it came out! What do you think? 😅

I've always wanted to try drawing Kheariv and Katal in settings outside FR, so putting a spelljammer into the mix was the obvious next step. :))
Made Abelroot and Saiza in the image of Deudermont and Robillard (a ship captain and his battlemage first mate), except more criminally inclined.

imagine being blind and falling in love with someone assuming they were a human because they could talk and you were never given reason to assume otherwise and then at the end when youre dying in each others arms you gently run your hands over their face and youre just like “what the fuck is this a ninja turtle”
