contains spoilers ofc. entirely unedited, mostly just me playing around with characterisation/backstory/other stuff in 2020-2023. none of this is canon and it might not be consistent with plot/character beats from the final game. names and stuff might even be wrong because a few chars got renamed after i wrote most of the script

includes

a go at writing the amna/rakhavan offscreen smut from act 3, playing around with characterisation. i like the dynamics of 2 characters having sex who are not particularly into each other more than platonically, but need to blow off some steam/hold someone
that marius/ari blowjob bit i posted a while back. offscreen smut from act 2 because i wanted to write something that was a bit sexy but also funny and character-dense, and because the triple-Hell stuff made me laugh
there’s a scene in act 3 where rakhavan is all miserable, and then he turns up a bit later less miserable and with a nosebleed. I don’t remember how explained this is in the game. here’s the explanation
so at one point in the game raeann gets manhandled by the major and wrestled to the ground. well what if this experience caused her to have some intense and complicated realisations that she has to work through (in very physical ways). this is the least canon of all of these but also, in some ways, the most canon
tari and mal catch a boat and name a baby. this was based on me realising “oh my god Ari’s last name is ‘treason’ and it wasn’t intentional”
modern AU at a christmas BBQ. ari and caudat sit down and have a conversation. this is much nicer to caudat for his fuckups than the game ever is, I think. most of my modern AUs are. may end up feeling very OOC or incompatible with the game for that reason, but there’s some stuff in it I really like (and a line I find devastating every time I read it) so I’m sticking it in this dump anyway.

The writer Mike Harrison once said writing is “the attempt to celebrate being here” & that’s exactly what this game encapsulates. It also has my favourite threesome scene in videogames… THUS FAR
