personal Vancouver 2/14/2026 ritual post

I was over in crowd left, I mainly stared at Cirrus, Haze, Storm, and Phantom.
- I froze my ahh off. absolutely on me for forgetting that i can no longer stand the cold 😭, despite it being 8c. the venue was entirely in the shade though so maybe that's fair,,,,
- I got many bracelets and met with a friendddd 🎉 I GOT TWO CHAIN BRACELETS AND IM SO HAPPY!!!! TWOOOOOO!!!!!!! I DIDN'T EXPECT THE SECOND CHAIN BRACELET AT ALL, THE FIRST WAS FROM MY FRIEND!!!!!
- Haul photos below! I had more mummy bucks but I got jumped outside /silly (folks saw me handing out some mummy bucks and asked for some, i got the hunter's moon and ghost bracelets from that. happily traded :D)
- People were super friendly. I usually don't talk to people, but I still talked and traded with at least 9 separate people w/o getting shy :D
- Vanessa arrived past 5pm and by then I was hiding up at Gate 7. There was a reaaaally big protest (unrelated to Ghost) from 4-5pm, so I'm assuming she came out later than usual because of that.
- I was pretty close to the front of one of G7's lines, got my perplushie within like 10 minutes of doors opening :D
- the people beside me all drank and were super duper friendly the entire ritual, just very loud and chaotic. really good vibes though!!
- I yapped with an older lady in the G7 merch line, she realllly wanted Elizabeth after hearing Per Aspera 4 times this leg. ... i hope she's doing okay @ no Elizabeth for Ghancouver. she wanted to get an exclusive Vancouver shirt, we didn't get an exclusive though (i had hope since both Montreal and Toronto had exclusives)
- The arena itself during pre-show was so cool. Got in before most of my section did, so I kind of just sat there and took it in.
- Massive curtain; not much light streaming through during Peacefield's opening (not enough smoke or just side perspective?), a slightly over half full pit which gradually filled up, Vanessa and GTV wandering around (they were really efficient and nice!), folks chattering to others, the crew doing their jobs. Particularly stared at backstage since some cases and rigs were visible from where I was, could see flashlights flickering around as folks worked. undeniably caught my interest. think I might get FOH/floor seats next time (FOH looks super interesting). Like 15 crew members came out near the latter portion of Miserere to manage the kabuki's drop, someone mentioned post-ritual that crowd right's curtain had to be held together due to it being ripped (rip). Watched the crew pack the inflatable backdrop away later, was also really cool.
- None of the external photographers have posted a photo of the kabuki. i'm praying for one.
- Favourite outfits I spotted were the Satanized nun across from me in Sodo's stands and a Jim DeFroque in the pit. there were at least 3 Primos and I loved those too :D, a Secondo cosplayer kept on hyping the crowd up as well.
