Tangent
Tangent is a generative animation of invisible force surrounding constantly morphing geometry.
In 2012 Variable was invited by art+bits festival held in Katowice / Poland to contribute in new art exhibition organized along the festival talks.

Process
The final artwork is a result of a study exploring ways to describe surface curvature. That information is then used to drive a number of agents tracing lines on the surface of a generated shape.
