This contest is open to all registered pixiv users who have read and agreed to these Application Guidelines (Entries from companies and multiple creators will not be accepted).

○Contest Terms
Please make sure you have read all the terms and conditions before entering this contest. By submitting your work using the method specified in "How to Participate," it will be taken that you have read and agreed to the Application Guidelines.

(1) Any entries (including and not limited to the entry's title, caption, series description, tags, nicknames, etc.) that fall under any of the conditions outlined below will be considered ineligible for the lottery. Works that are ineligible for the lottery may be removed from any page related to the contest at pixiv's discretion.
① Entries that do not follow the posting procedure and conditions outlined in "How to Participate"
(The following are select examples and do not represent the complete scope of these conditions)
・Not matching the theme of the contest.
・Not having the contest tag attached.
・Setting the privacy level of your entry to “My pixiv”, “Private”, or "URL restricted".
・Reposting a previously submitted work or not submitting your entry within the time frame of the contest.
・Works posted by underage contestants without the consent of a guardian.
② Works that violate pixiv's Terms of Use, Article 14 "Prohibited Conduct"
(The following are examples and do not represent the complete scope of these conditions)
・Works and/or conduct that may infringe upon pixiv's, or third party's copyrights, design rights, intellectual property rights, or other rights.
・Works that unfairly discriminate or slander our company or third parties, promote unfair discrimination against third parties, or damage their credibility.
・Works that violate public order and morals.
・Works that are determined to violate any other conditions outlined in Article 14 of the Terms of Use.
*For works that fall under ②, pixiv Inc. may take measures outlined in the Terms of Use, Article 15. "Responses to Violation etc. and Cancellation of Registration" regardless of whether they are contest entries or not.
③ Others
・Works created via third-party commission, or via pixiv Requests (including request rewards).
・Works that pixiv Inc. finds disagreeable for public viewing.
・Any works based on existing work/goods, works/goods scheduled to be released, works/goods that have already been submitted for other contests, or works/goods that have already won other contests
・Works that have missing information or have errors in the required information.
・Works that pixiv Inc. finds disagreeable with adequate reason may also be disqualified.

(2) The copyright of all submitted works belongs to the contestant.

(3) Contestants will not be informed directly when the lottery results are announced. Only winners will be informed of their victory after the contest period has ended by the pixiv staff from the pixiv official account.

(4) Regardless of whether the contestant is selected as a winner or not, the works submitted to this contest, comments on works, and pixiv nicknames may be used in whole or in part on pixiv's Official X, Facebook page, and other official pixiv social media accounts, in publications such as books, or displayed at events. The content may be partially altered.

(5) If you cancel your submission, it will no longer be eligible for the lottery.

(6) pixiv Inc. will not cover any costs incurred in submitting an entry.

(7) Contestants from outside of Japan are welcome to participate. However, depending on where you reside, it may be impossible to ship the prizes. Thank you for your understanding.

(8) This project is held by and sponsored by pixiv Inc.

(9) pixiv Inc. will use all information provided during the application process solely for the purpose of contacting participants regarding this project and their submitted works. Pixiv Inc. will handle applicants' personal information in accordance with pixiv Inc.'s privacy policy.

○Disclaimer
(1) Contestants assume responsibility for their own submissions.
(2) pixiv Inc. will not be responsible for any disputes that may happen between the contestants and other users, regardless of the reason.
(3) pixiv Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contest in case pixiv Inc. deems it necessary for any reason, including system maintenance.
(4) pixiv Inc. will not be liable for any damages incurred by the contestants, including, but not limited, to contest interruption, suspension, or cancellation.
(5) pixiv Inc.'s disclaimer as stipulated in these application guidelines shall not apply in cases where the cause of direct damage is due to pixiv Inc.'s intentional or gross negligence.

(2) Please include your email address, nickname, inquiry, and the subject “About the ToonScroll Challenge" before submitting your support request.
(3) Inquiries made by phone will not receive a response.
(4) Replies will not be given to questions regarding the lottery results.

○Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The contest and its terms shall be governed by Japanese law. Furthermore, the Tokyo District Court shall be the mutually-agreed court for any proceedings, with jurisdiction for the preliminary trial in the case of any disputes over contest terms or matters between the Company and the contestants.
