ジュリアン・H・スチュワード（Julian Haynes Steward、1902年1月31日 - 1972年2月6日）は、アメリカ合衆国の文化人類学者。北米先住民の研究を通して文化と環境の関係を探求し、文化生態学（英語版）と呼ばれる研究領域を確立したことで知られる。コロンビア大学教授（1946～1953年）として同校人類学科長を務めた。

当時のアメリカ人類学ではフランツ・ボアズ以来の歴史主義が主流で、法則や理論化への関心は歓迎されない雰囲気があった。スチュワードはこうした風潮に抗して、文化の進化を環境への適応という観点から理論化しようと試み、文化生態学という枠組を提唱した。 これによると文化は、直接環境と相互作用を行う「文化の核」と、直接は環境と関係ない「二次的特徴」の二種類に分けられる。文化の核には生業、技術、居住形態などが含まれ、環境によって強く規定されるため、これに焦点を当てることによって環境と文化の関係および文化進化の過程が明らかにされうる。

彼のこのような主張は、生態人類学の誕生のきっかけとなり、現在も広く受け入れられている。
