-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1,SHA256
I am transitioning from an older 1024-bit DSA key to a new 4096-bit RSA
key. The old key will continue to be valid for some time, but I prefer
all new correspondance to be encrypted in the new key, and will be making
all signatures going forward with the new key.
This document is signed with both keys to validate the transition.
If you have signed my old key, I would appreciate signatures on my new key
as well, provided that your signing policy permits that without
reauthenticating me.
The old key, which I am transitional away from, was:
pub 1024D/F985E3400AFC7476 1999-02-10
Key fingerprint = 18CF B0C8 368A 36A8 86F5 66A2 F985 E340 0AFC 7476
The new key, to which I am transitioning, is:
pub 4096R/D15D313882004173 2009-05-29 [expires: 2013-09-16]
Key fingerprint = E784 364E 8DDE 7BB3 70FB D9EA D15D 3138 8200 4173
The expiration date on the new key will be refreshed periodically.
To fetch the full new key from a public key server using GnuPG, run:
gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net -recv-key D15D313882004173
If you have already validated my old key, you can then validate that the
new key is signed by my old key:
gpg --check-sigs D15D313882004173
Please note that there is another, even older, 768-bit RSA key available
for me on the keyservers. I have lost the passphrase to this key during
older transitions between working environments when I was less careful
about tracking such things. This key should be considered revoked; I
would issue a revocation certificate for it if I had the passphrase. This
old, revoked key is:
pub 768R/FC81350756E8F739 1994-10-09
Key fingerprint = 32 D7 46 5A D7 BA 0E 5C 5B F0 8A 27 3D B4 30 E3
Please contact me via e-mail if you have any questions about this
document or this transition.
