Current Software Projects

The G-complex suite - a set of tools for investigating the gene-scrambling process in ciliates. Includes a tool for generating a complexity measurement for arbitrary ciliate genes (given a mac/mic pair as input).

The Semigroup Project - applying new theoretical results in semigroup theory to characterize all finite semigroups of a given order.

The H programming language - A weakly typed, stack-based programming language (reminiscent of Forth, with some twists) designed specifically for Genetic Programming. Interpreter-based with dynamic compilation of user defined functions to native machine code.

PAL (Poser Animation Language) - A procedural animation language for Curious Labs' Poser figure animation package. (obsoleted by Poser Pro Pack's addition of Python scripting).
