| This is the homepage (sort
of) of Martine 'Fly' Coleman, who does not have Internet access and I am
keeping this page on my account for her. Martine Coleman (an alias) is
a young Croatian writer who writes primarily in English. Please note that
English is not her native language, and bear with some of her stylistic
mistakes. All speling erors are my fault.
On this site you can find a number of her poems and several of her short stories. Martine's greatest goal is to write and publish a novel, and she is in fact currently working on a project of such size.

Her poems, written under
the nickname 'Fly' are generally very dark, pessimistic and often speak
of death, pain, hate and love, but in a way that is, somehow, very familiar
and understandable. The short story, 'Cayenne',
featured here is, in a way, a counterweight to the atmosphere of the poems.
On the other hand, don't expect a happy or humorous story. The story tells
of a love so deep, deep enough to do that one special thing.
I will not write anything about the
other stories, you will just have to read them yourself.

Martine's poetry
has been divided into two sections. Poems added after November 1997 are
in the second section, where all the new poems are being added (note that
poems are not divided by date of writing, but by date of being put on the
web page). Older poems (which were here before November 1997) are in the
first section. Eventually there will also be a third section.
