I am a PhD student supported by the postgraduate program Specification of discrete processes and systems of processes by operational models and logics and a member of the Research Group Implementation of Programming Languages. My areas of interest involve category theory, functional programming (especially Haskell) and the theory of tree transducers. I try to understand the relation of syntactic composition of tree transducers and short-cut fusion in a generalized category theory framework. My supervisor is Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Heiko Vogler.
