How to get to the Forte 2004 venue?

The easiest way to get the Forte 2004 venue is to get the underground to Ciudad Universitaria in line 6 (the one in gray color). Then you can take a walk of 15 min. duration; or you can take either the U or G bus. In some buses there is a sign which shows the next bus stop; the nearest one of the Forte 2004 venue is Paraninfo-Informática. You can see the details in the map.

About Madrid

The underground is the most convenient way of transport in Madrid. It is fast and quite cheap: a single ticket costs 1.15¤ and there are 10-travels tickets that cost 5.35¤ called metrobús. Children under four are free of charge. Please, notice that the underground close at 2:00AM and opens at 6:00AM. So, it is not recommended to use from the airport after 1:00AM, as maybe you could not arrive to your final destination.

There are also metropolitan buses (EMT). These buses are single floor buses and red; DO NOT mistake these buses for the touristic ones. The latter are two floor buses and quite expensive.

From the airport to the Tirol and NH-Alberto Aguilera hotels

• Underground
1. Underground line 8 (pink), Barajas-Nuevos Ministerios:
   
The stop in the airport is located in the Terminal T2, first floor. The entrance to the underground can be found in the walkway connecting to car park P2 in the middle of the terminal.
Timetable: 06:05 to 02:00 (if the flight arrives at the airport after 1:00AM better take a taxi).
2. Underground line 6 (grey), Circular:
   
Take this line in Nuevos Ministerios, the Andén 1, until Argüelles.

• Taxi

To hail a taxi you must go to the taxi ranks. Please ignore any offers for taxi services inside the terminals. Check that the taxi puts the meter on at the beginning of the journey (flag down). Ask for a receipt just in case you wish to make a complaint.
· Stops:
T1 ground floor. Arrivals. In front of gate 2.
T2 ground floor. Arrivals. In front of lounge 5.
T3 ground floor. In front of lounge 7.
· Price:
Minimum fare, 1.55 €.
On weekdays from 06:00 to 22:00, each kilometre in zone A, 0.70 € (fare 1); in zone B, 0.88 € (fare 2); from 22:00 to 06:00, 0.88 € in zone A (fare 2) and 0.98 € in zone B (fare 3).
On public holidays, each kilometre, from 06:00 to 22:00, zone A, 0.88 € (fare 2); in zone B, 0.98 € (fare 3); between 22:00 and 06:00, in zone A, 0.88 € (fare 2); in zone B, 0.98 € (fare 3).
For journeys with origin and destination to the airport there is an extra charge of 4.20 €.
The approximated price from the Airport to the hotels Tirol or NH Alberto Aguilera is 20-30 €.
