How to reach Nancy:

By Plane: The most convenient international airports are located in Paris, Luxembourg, Strasbourg, and the airport of Nancy-Metz. In all cases you have to take a shuttle from the airport to the train station, and then to take a train for Nancy (except for the Nancy-Metz airport!).

By Train: There are rather good train connections from Paris (2h45), Luxembourg (2h00), and Strasbourg (1h30). For more details on train time schedules: SNCF and DeutscheBahn.

By Car: You may have a look at this road map, which helps to reach the train station and the LORIA (the computer science research center in Nancy) from the motorways. The conference site (see below) is located within easy reach of both the LORIA and the train station.

Nancy downtown is small (see the pdf map). The Conseil Général building (bottom left corner of the map) can be reached from the train station and the hotels either by a rather short walk (no more than 20 mn), or by a direct bus: An annotated map of Nancy can be found here (jpg file). It describes how to reach the conference location from Nancy downtown. For people coming by car, there is a parking at the opposite side of the rue du Sergent Blandan (it is in fact the parking of the Nancy Thermal swimming pool).
