Computer Science Education Projects

Since I spend a lot of my time teaching, I am interested in various aspects of Computer Science education, reflected in a few projects over the years. I am particularly interested in the use of tools to support teaching and learning. (See also my old Web projects for another education-related project.)

Submit!: Web-based Submission and Feedback System

Submit! is a Macquarie system developed by a team lead by Yusuf Pisan and containing yours truly. Apart from enabling students to submit assignments and exercises via the Web, the system has flexible support for automatic marking and script-driven assessment. The project was funded by a Macquarie University Flagship Teaching Development grant.
