The globalization has forced us to think about the integration of applications running at geographically dispersed locations. All these developments not only have led to refocus seriously on issues pertaining to distributed computing and internet technology but have also enthused researchers to develop innovative applications for new business models and remould the existing business models to cater to the emerging global villege.
