I read that some people voted for G.W. Bush because of his moral values. That's odd --- it's the same reason why I voted against him.... (Updates: N.Y. Times, 30 Nov. 2004 | A.P., 7 Dec. 2004 | N.Y. Post, 22 Dec. 2004 | A.P., 27 Jan. 2005) Comment: For years and years, as an Amnesty International member, I wrote letters to third-world dictators, asking them to stop torturing people. Recently, I was forced to write a similar letter to my own government. This situation saddens and disgusts me.
