I am a Lecturer (Associate Professor) in the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University.

My teaching responsibilites

My teaching activities for the spring semester 2005 are:

• I am charge of the course Syntax and semantics which is part of the Dat3/F7S/BOS programme and of the SW4 programme.
• At the Dat 6 semester I supervise two masters level students

My research

My research area is that of process calculi and structural operational semantics and their applications. My primary research interests are the pi-calculus and its use in the semantics of programming languages, and the object calculi due to Abadi and Cardelli. I was the workshop coordinator and webmaster of the conference CONCUR'01 (which was held in Aalborg in August of 2001).

As I am a member of Research unit for Distributed Systems and Semantics, I am involved with the BRICS project. I am also a member of the Danish Mathematics Society aka Dansk Matematisk Forening.
