Oded Goldreich's "On our duties as scientists"

Oded Goldreich does have interesting opinions, and expresses some of them in his invariably interesting essays. I recently read the "personal version" of "On our duties as scientists". I enjoyed reading it, and I expect that so will some of you. The first personal story recounted in Section 4.1 of the document made me think of the papers of mine whose full version never saw the light of day. I am ashamed of not having provided those, even though, unlike the GMW87 paper, none of them was anywhere close to being "important".
