Research Interests:
I am interested in non-traditional operating system architectures. My research is focused on the interrelation of programming languages and operating system architecture. I am convinced that modern object-oriented programming languages can improve the reliability and security of operating systems. As these languages allow programming at a very high abstraction level it becomes more difficult to assess the performance by inspecting the source program. Therefore my interests also include performance evaluation and the visualization of system behavior.
Status:
I am a former reasearch staff member of the Department of Computer Science 4. I completed my Ph.D. thesis in December 2002.
