Personal information
I am working in the I3S laboratory (Informatique, Signaux et Systèmes de Sophia-Antipolis) of the University of Nice − Sophia Antipolis, team RECIF (Recherche En Combinatoire et Informatique Fondamentale).
I made my PhD entitled Des piles de sable aux automates de sable (in English: From sandpiles to sand automata) under the direction of Enrico Formenti. I defended it at the end of 2006.
I am currently invited at the Fislab laboratory, at the University of Milano-Bicocca, under the direction of Gianpiero Cattaneo and Alberto Dennunzio.
My research is based on sand automata, a model which generalizes all kinds of existing sandpile models. If you are interested in these topics, please visit my publications page to learn more about them.
