The FOAL Workshops
The FOAL workshops on Foundations of Aspect-Oriented Languages have been held annually since 2002. The workshops have been held in conjunction with the International Conferences on Aspect-Oriented Software Development
The workshop aims to foster work in foundations, including formal studies, promote the exchange of ideas, and encourage workers in the semantics and formal methods communities to do research in the area of aspect-oriented programming languages.

FOAL 2007 has been approved as a workshop at AOSD 2007. The workshhop will take place on March 13, 2007 in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are pleased to have again assembled an excellent program committee, led by Shmuel Katz. As described in the FOAL 2007 call for papers, submissions are due January 10, 2007.

FOAL 2006 in Bonn was a great success; thanks to the participants and to the program committee, and especially to Mira Mezini, the program committee chair. Slides from the presentations are now available on the agenda.

This web site is designed using XHTML 1.0 and CSS2. While both of these technologies have been standardized for years (XHTML 1.0 since 2000, CSS2 since 1998), browser support is still a bit spotty.
