After successfully being awarded funding by the Swiss National Science Foundation I started in November 2003 as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Oscar Nierstrasz and Prof. Stephane Ducasse in the Software Composition Group in the University of Berne, Switzerland.

My Ph.D. is focused on evolution of software from a features perspective. For more details, have a look at the publications and research sections.

Research keywords:

  • Feature Analysis
  • Dynamic Analysis
  • Software Evolution Analysis
  • Aspect Mining Techniques
  • Software Reverse Engineering
  • Software Reengineering
  • Software Metrics

I am program committee member for PCODA 2006- International Workshop on Program Comprehension through dynamic analysis .

I have a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin. My Research Project was with the Network and Telecommunications Research Group under the supervision of Prof. Donal O'Mahony.

I share my name with an irish naval vessel :-) (as gaelige) and with a river in Germany.
