Roundtables - Deadline : April 1, 1995
Roundtables organized by leaders in their respective fields allow interaction
among participants who are pursuing common technical interests. The roundtable
organizer is responsible for setting the theme and encouraging participation
through selected short presentations or panel discussion. Roundtable sessions
will be scheduled in parallel with technical paper sessions and should be 1.5
to 2 hours long. The roundtables will be open to all attendees.
Those interested in organizing a roundtable session should submit one copy of
a proposal, by April 1, 1995, that includes a description of the subject area,
the targeted audience, goals for the session, and the organizer's contributions
to the field.

Tutorials - Deadline : April 1, 1995
Half-day and full-day tutorial proposals are solicited. Scheduled for Monday,
September 18, 1995, the tutorial program aims to present a spectrum of topics
related to high performance computing and communications. These include high-
performance computing applications in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics
, etc., Parallel Processing, Distributed and Network Computing, Numerical
Methods, Performance and Benchmarking, Novel Architecture (Processors,
Interconnection, and Storage), Scientific Visualization, Networking, and
Compiler Technology. In addition, tutorials supporting the specific themes of
HPC'ASIA 1995 are encouraged.
Each proposal should include the following items: a brief description of
the tutorial material, intended audience, level of presentation (beginner,
intermediate and advanced), samples of visual materials to be used, and a vita
with three references who are familiar with the proposer's lecturing ability.
Submissions missing any of the required components(abtract, outlin, presentation
level, samples of visuals, vita, and references) will be returned without
review.

Visual Presentations - Deadline : April 1, 1995
Authors preferring an informal, interactive presentation of results may
submit a proposal for a poster and/or video poster exhibit. Video poster
presenters may have a video with his standard poster. A VCR and monitor
will be supplied upon request.
A Poster Exhibit and/or Video Poster Exhibit proposal should include an
abstract of 1000 words or less which describes the content of the
poster, the mode of presentation (video or standard), and any equipment
requirements.

Research Exhibits - Deadline : April 1, 1995
Research Exhibits provide hands-on demonstrations of working research
tools and systems, with an emphasis on interactive displays. They offer
an opportunity for conference attendees to see a broad range of high
performance computing and communication research in action and to have
direct discussion with the research scientists involved. The conference
organizers expect at least one research exhibit from every Asian
country.
Proposals for research exhibits must include an abstract of no more than
three pages describing: the purpose of exhibit, the computing equipment `
required, any network connections required.
