EECS Undergraduates Win Artificial Intelligence (AI) Video Award

Jeff Balogh, Greg Dubbin, and Michael Do won the Best Student Video Award in the first ever AAAI-07 AI Video Competition for their "Dance Evolution" Video, which is based on a project supervised by Dr. Kenneth Stanley in the Spring 2007 undergraduate Machine Learning II class (EEL 4817).  This competition was organized by the world's premier AI conference to encourage public promotion of AI.  This accomplishment is especially notable because the UCF entry won despite being the sole undergraduate entry in a field of graduate submissions.  The Dance Evolution program will be released to the public at a later date through http://eplex.cs.ucf.edu.
