To reflect the evolution and broadened scope of the journal,we are
starting the new decade with a new name: Higher-Order and Symbolic
Computation As we described in our editorial in the July 1997 issue, our aims and scope has been revised and already appears in the inside back cover of the journal. Finally, we would also like to introduce our new associate editors. Olivier Danvy (University of Aarhus, Denmark) [danvy@brics.dk] Dan Friedman (Indiana University) [dfried@cs.indiana.edu] Bob Harper (Carnegie Mellon University) [rwh@cs.cmu.edu] Takayasu Ito (Tohoku University, Sendai Japan) [ito@ito.ecei.tohoku.ac.jp] Ian Mason (University of New England, Armidale Australia) [iam@turing.une.edu.au] Julian Padget (University of Bath, Bath England) [jap@maths.bath.ac.uk] Their task is to facilitate the reviewing process, be on the watch for material for special issues, and otherwise generate ideas to improve the journal. We look forward to an outstanding second decade. |
