My chief research interest is programmer productivity, which spans the spectrum from software engineering, through compilation, to programming language design. Many of my publications and programs are available on-line.
Through December 2008, I am on sabbatical in Saarbrücken, Germany at MPI-SWS and UdS. I am reading email regularly.
