He had been visiting Gregor Kiczales' group at UBC from October 2001 until September 2002 as a Monbu-kagaku-syou zaigai-kenkyuu-in (under The Fellowship Program for University Teachers for Study Abroad, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) from University of Tokyo.
He is interested in fundamental aspects of Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP), including the following topics:
