Institute for Software Research (ISR)

• ISR is the focal point in SCS for research and graduate education in Software Engineering (SE) and Computation Organizations and Society (COS). It additionally supports research and education in Information Infrastructure in Emerging Economics and in Digital Libraries. It hosts a variety of professional and executive programs including the Masters in Software Engineering (MSE) program, now in its 16th year. ISR is a focal point for industry and international collaboration. The ISR is home to approximately thirty faculty, seventy visitors and staff, and more than a hundred MS and PhD students.
