Phu
was born and brought up in Hue, Vietnam. He received an engineer
degree from Ho
Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Vietnam in
2001, and an M.Sc degree from University
of Ulsan, South Korea in 2006, both in computer science and
engineering. In April 2001, he was recruited as an assistant lecturer at the
Faculty of
Computer Science and Engineering, HCMUT.
From Sep
2004 to Aug 2006, he was a master student and research assistant
at Applied Software Engineering Lab, School of Computer
Engineering and Information Technology, University of Ulsan,
under the supervision of Prof.
Myeong Jae Yi.
Since October 2006, he has been with the ProSec security
research group, Department of Computing Science, Chalmers
Univerisity of Technology and Gothenburg Univeristy as a Ph.D.
student, under the supervision of Prof.
David Sands. He is involved in the SESAME project,
in collaboration with Volvo Technology, and funded by Vinnova.
