I am a professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Tartu. On part-time basis, I am also affiliated with the Institute of Cybernetics at Tallinn. From August 2001 to July 2002, I was on leave at the Computer Science Department of Trier University where I contributed to the Daedalus project.
My research interests include semantics of programming languages, methods of program construction and transformation, static analysis of programs, functional programming, type theory, category theory. My favourite programming language is Haskell.
