Home		All submitted papers must contain original work that has neither been previously published nor it is currently under review by another conference or journal. Submitted papers will be treated as confidential during the review process. Paper format Papers should be prepared using Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) Series single column format. Description and templates for Springer's LNCS format can be found by following this link. Submission Categories There are two categories of submissions: full papers and short papers. Full papers are allotted 15 pages in the conference proceedings and will be presented orally at the conference. Short papers are allotted 5 pages in the conference proceedings and will be presented as posters. Although papers can be submitted directly to any of these two categories, the program committee will ultimately decide if the accepted papers fall in the full or short category. Submitted full papers should not exceed 14 pages in Springer's LNCS single column format. Submitted short papers should not exceed 4 pages in Springer's LNCS single column format. Accepted full papers should not exceed 15 pages in Springer's LNCS single column format. Accepted short papers should not exceed 5 pages in Springer's LNCS single column format. Submission All papers must be submitted electronically in Portable Document Format (PDF) through EasyChair. In addition to the PDF version of the final manuscript, the authors should send: a tarred archive containing all the source files to hscc09@ee.ucla.edu; a signed LNCS copyright form (available here) either as a scanned copy to hscc09@ee.ucla.edu or by fax to +1 310 794 5057.
