The FOAL Workshops
The FOAL workshops on Foundations of Aspect-Oriented Languages have been held annually since 2002. The workshops have been held in conjunction with the International Conferences on Aspect-Oriented Software Development
The workshop aims to foster work in foundations, including formal studies, promote the exchange of ideas, and encourage workers in the semantics and formal methods communities to do research in the area of aspect-oriented programming languages.

March 26, 2012
Today the FOAL 2012 workshop was held in Potsdam. The workshop was very interesting, and over 30 people attended the sessions (with 38 attending at one point in the morning.)

The papers for FOAL 2012 have been selected. You can see them in the agenda for the workshop. The workshop itself will occur on 26 March 2012. Please register for the workshop when you register for MODULARITY: aosd 2012 at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute, in Potsdam, Germany.

There will be a FOAL 2012 associated with MODULARITY: aosd 2012 at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute, in Potsdam, Germany on 26 March 2012. So, if you are interested in FOAL, please consider submitting a paper. Papers are due 23 December 2011. See the call for papers for details.
