Cancellation of registration: Cancellation received before August 1, 1999 will be subject to a 30% administrative charge. There will be no refunds for cancellation received after that date.

After that date all assistance will begiven according to availability.
Please make your hotel reservation using the enclosed accommodation form: your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the registration and accommodation form together with the relevant payments.
All accommodations and services will be confirmed on a "first come,
first served" basis. Early reservation will ensure the widest possible
choice. Should we not be able to cover an excessive demand we reserve the
right to suggest an alternative.
KEY CONGRESS also provides a limited number of low-cost hotels, University residences and religious guest houses; please note that most of them do not have a priavte bathroom.
Applciation for this Category may be allocated to the next higher Category.
Cancellation: Full refunds (excluding administration costs) will be due for cancellation made before August 1, 1999. For cancellation after this date no refunds will be made.

A deposit covering the first night of the accommodation chosen (corresponding to the maximun rate for each hotel category) together with the handling fee of Lit. 20.000 should be sent to KEY CONGRESS. The remaining nights will be paid directly to the hotel upon departure.
Should the participants have a special hotel preference, we will try to please this request according to availability. Upon receipt of your reservation, a confirmation note will be issued informing of the name and address of the hotel reserved.

For those arriving at the Airport on other dates please note the following:
the Cooperativa S. Marco (Water transport) is the less expensive method of transportation directly to Piazza S. Marco: they have an office inside the Airport where you can buy tickets.
The trip takes about 45 mins.
If you prefer to take a water taxi, it will take you directly to your hotel and the trip will be much faster. A water taxi can carry several persons, depending on the luggage, and the average trip costs about Lit. 140.000.
For participants arriving at the Railway station Venezia S. Lucia: public water busses (running regularly until midnight) and private water taxis are also available. if you arrive by car you should park your car at the Tronchetto Car Park. From there you can either catch a public water bus to the city center or a water taxi. Please disregard people offering free parking and cheap taxi transportation.
A licensed taxi will always have a yellow sign with its registration number.
The Congres venue of Ca' Dolfin, is located near the Railway Station "Santa Lucia" (see map) and can be reached from San Marco-Riva degli Schiavoni (few meters ahead from Hotel Danieli) by water bus no. 82 or 1.
The workshop will be held in the main University Conference Hall, a wonderful lecture hall with furniture from the Venetian 1700's.
