Submission Guidelines
We seek
high-quality submissions in two categories:
- Full
technical papers, describing original, unpublished research (up to 10
pages).
- Work-in-progress
papers, describing on-going work and interim results (up to 6 pages).
Prospective
participants should forward submissions in PDF format. All articles must
include the full contact information of at least one author and must be
sent to Guenter.Kniesel@cs.uni-bonn.de.
Submission FAQ
Question
On the
proceedings page page you say the best
papers will be considered for publication in SP&E. However, all
the workshop papers will be published as a workshop reader by Springer
in an LNCS volume.
My question is do you want the paper initially formatted according the
LNCS latex rules and not the SP&E rules?
Answer
There
is a slight misunderstanding here. The proceedings
page says that only a summary of the workshop will be published
in the Workshop Reader, no full papers.
So the format for the initial submission is whatever you like. However,
if you are aiming at a journal publication then using the SP&E style
in the first place will save you reformatting latter, in case that your
paper will be selected for the planned special issue of SP&E.
