Welcome!
I am a Full Professor at the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto, Portugal.
I currently serve as:
- Coordinator of CRACS - Center for Research in Advanced Computing Systems, a research unit recognized and evaluated by the Portuguese Science Foundation Council (FCT) with Very-Good, and currently associated with INESC-TEC.
- Member of INESC-TEC Associate Laboratory.
- Member of the scientific board of MAP-i - Doctoral Program in Computer Science, a joint program of the Universities of Minho, Aveiro and Porto.
- Co-Director for the Dual PhD Degree in Computer Science within the CMU-Portugal initiative, and PI representing MAPi and UPorto.
- Co-Director for Advanced Computing within the UTAustin-Portugal initiative.
I also serve/served in the following scientific committees
