Dot to show intersecting linesIdea

Hello, it would be great to add the ability to mark intersecting lines with a dot. Currently adding a circle to the endpoint of a line does not result in the circle being centered over the intersection point. This is a common convention to highlight intersecting lines when making electrical system diagrams, which is my primary use for Lucidchart at my work.

Return User's Last Active Date via Get User APIIdea

When returning the payload for Get User please include the “Last Active Date” for that users profile.  you can get this “last Active Date” by going to usage and clicking the export in the top right. https://developer.lucid.co/reference/getuser

Disable contextual panel from displaying in LucidValidating

When I select a shape the Contextual Panel for that shape automatically opens up even when I've previously clicked the Contextual Panel icon to disable it (in the hopes it would stop opening each time).  This is highly inconvenient as it takes up screen space and often covers up the very shape I just clicked on with the intention of entering text.  Each time I have to click to disable the panel and then when I click the next shape it opens again. It seems to happen on all container elements. The example is from a Mind Map but I've also seen it on Org Charts Swim Lames etc.

Update Azure icons to latestDelivered

The latest Azure icon pack appears to be from 2021. A lot has changed since; many icons are missing (e.g. Entra), many icons have been redesigned (e.g Resource Groups). What is causing Lucid to be so behind on the icons? According to Microsoft’s page on Azure icons - Azure icons - Azure Architecture Center | Microsoft Learn - there appears to be no copyright limitation or such which would stop Lucid from using the latest icons.

Segregate expiration of embedded links among audiencesIdea

Due to security policy, I am required to enable expiration for embedded links. However, as this is currently a global setting, enabling this setting negatively impacts the functionality of embedded docs in integrated apps such as Confluence. To ensure governance while enabling system integration, we need the ability to exclude expiration for embedded links for specific app integrations.

Rotating entire floorplanIdea

It would be great if there was a tool where you could highlight/select your entire floorplan or room and rotate the entire thing.  I have 2 separate drawings of warehouses that are next to each other in real life and I want to put them together into 1 floorplan.  However one of the drawings will need to be rotated 90 degrees in order to bring together. At the moment when I highlight/select the entire plan and click to rotate only the objects within the walls move. Very frustrating unfortunately.

Convert "diagram as code" flowchart to regular draggable componentsIdea

The idea is to convert the Mermaid diagram flowchart into standard Lucid components, so one could drag elements around, resize, etc. It would be okay to no longer edit the original Mermaid code, or lose some styling -- it would not need to be an exact representation.This has also been requested by ​@Bill.Stout and ​@jmesterh in the following thread:

Archimate Enterprise Architecture shape library request missingIdea

Hi ! I love Lucidchart for process and information modelling, but I miss a very important part to have a do-it-all  business architecture tool. The Archimate EA library you added last year misses some important layers. Motivation, Strategy, Implementation & Migration is completely og partly missing. Until this is added me and my colleagues are dependent on other applications to create our work, and keep on looking for alternative tools to use. This should be a very small task to fix, and I hope you can prioriritize this some time soon.  Best regards, Nikolai AksnesBusiness Architect Norway

I save a bookmark to a specific team document page for quick access, but if I need to authenticate, I will be navigated to the default home page.  I would like it if after authentication I get navigated to the page I wanted to go to.

More shapes for Lucid MCP serverIdea

The MCP server has a ton of promise - thank you!  Would it be possible to expand the range of shape libraries that could be used?  In particular, we use Data Flow, ERD and Salesforce Architecture diagrams on a regular basis as well as a set of custom shape libraries, so it would be really helpful to be able to pass in the shape libraries to be used.

Allow users to view Lucid documents without log inIdea

When I share my document, users can only view if they create an account. I understand creating an account is free, but this is a hassle when I am sharing my document with several different people for just a brief time. Please make an option to view without signing in.

Disable all fontsIdea

The ability to disable fonts should be available.  There is no real font management, and only way to view fonts is via “Filters” in the manage font “tool”.  The ability to disable all fonts in the current filtered view would be ideal.  Having to disable each font individually is time consuming.There needs to be a font management feature.  It does not exist.  This should be one of the primary tools/functions for a document creation tool.  Since fonts are not pulled from the local system, managing fonts needs to be available (add, remove, enable, disable).Ironically disabling all fonts doesn’t disable fonts.  Fonts still exist from the font drop down menu, with zero fonts enabled.

I’d love to have a tab bar right inside the app to switch between my projects instantly without the clutter.It would be such a huge workflow booster for those of us who juggle multiple boards all day. How to lock complete Lucid diagrams or status to prevent editingIdea

Hello,As the title suggests, is there a way to lock completed diagrams to remove the risk of someone on our team (including myself) from accidentally editing? I have seen other posts about changing the status to “approved” or “completed” but this does not prevent editing from my experience.

Support exact numerical shape and wall measurementsFuture Consideration

I am currently designing a floorplan for a company. I wish there were a way to just type in the dimensions of e.g. a wall or an area instead of having to drag them to be the right length. especially with larger dimensions this becomes very fiddly and imprecise rather quickly.If you made it so that the measurements alongside the wall could be clicked and then edited to the desired length by just typing in the exact number, that would be awesome.Same goes for any given shape.

Set exact measurements in floor plansFuture Consideration

I create large floorplans for big buildings. When i need to set a shape to a exact measurement (for example 10 meters x 4 meters) it can be very hard to drag the shape into the exact measurement by centimeters. It would be very nice with a box where you could set the measurements for that shape or a rightclick menu for settings for that shape where you could do the same. Also when dealing with large floorplans its impossible to add text as 96pt is barely visible with floorplans of this size. There is currently no way to add text that is visible on floorplans this large. The floorplan i am now working with will be 200 x 200 meters when im done, everything needs to be by exact measurements, so when dealing with floorplans of this size it would be nice with some tools like mentioned above.
