i try to share database. i create two shared hostings on the same provider but different accounts. on one hosting i install the database and on the second i install the config and settings in public html folder. then i set the url and database infos there.
reason for that doing is too use the database for several forums and if one forum get suspended then the database is still there.
when i open the url then i get that

When I try to go to my domain /install/ it just says 404, page not found. I have published my site, and all my php settings appear to be correct (if thats necessary? I dunno what I'm doing.)
I checked my files and all the files are in the correct location. I renamed the files that should be renamed.

I get email from the forum. I'm the admin and I get mail notifications when new members sign up, I have also had mail when I have PM's. I ran the test mail from the documentation just in case, and as expected it worked perfectly.
However, I subscribed to one of my forum boards today and I'm getting nothing. When I first made a thread and nothing happened I thought /facepalm "of course I won't notify me of my own thread, idiot" and so I logged into my alternate test account and made a thread with that - nothing. I looked in PHPMyAdmin at the database and there are a number of tables relating to mail and all of them are completely empty.
I hoped maybe I was just being impatient but it's been an hour and still nothing. I get the other emails pretty much straight away.
If anyone has a suggestion I'd be grateful, thanks
