Once the user has donated via PayPal, they automatically become a Premium User. I also need a Donation Bar, i.e., a bar with an annual filling target that users see on the front page. Are there any plugins that do this?

The one that i wrote for my forums do that, but it takes it from the api requests and when it seems to get payments into your wallet at that moment it takes the groups automatically and when the subscription ends it take to the same group, already exist a donation bar plugin in the site but you can do it whatever you want due already does not exist in here pay or free a plugin like that.

Even so, mine is just for subscriptions to get items from the shop according with subscription type.

But you can customize any thing you need with plugins, or take the current ones and re write it at your owns.

I didn't download it because when I read the plugin support, it seemed to cause problems because it hasn't been updated.

Yes, I'm not asking for anything excessive. Those features are enough for me. I remember that years ago there was something, but it's been abandoned for years

My site was down like 1 year ago just, or a little more, so you can not saw it online, but i have a backup not tested yet but updated to php 8.x i was using 7.4 in the online version.

But i know it works flawless until the site was closed haha.

In my site all works within normal mode, but we have a shop where you can get items for free and some of them by Premium, Platinum subscriptions, but Platinum was like the basic one, when you go to Premium, you can get all items in the shop for the period of time you purchase your membership, like 3 / 6 months. And i gave exclusive support for those users in that time, i was thinking in remove limitations and put just the donations to pay the server, but in that moment nobody donates, so i decide to close the site haha. So i may not be able to wrote the mod for donations.

But just have the subscriptions part, and i saw the plugin by curiosity i think it can be updated and make it works for your goals, so if you like i can help you on that to put it up to date due i think maybe that can be more useful for you.
