I’m the head of talent acquisition for Logicworks. We’re an AWS and Azure-managed cloud service provider. We work with customers to help them migrate to the cloud.

When we start a recruitment process, we provide Devire with the job descriptions and then have in-depth interviews with Devire’s consultant. In this interview, Devire usually asks us for more information about the job openings and requirements.

I work mainly with Devire’s principal consultant for life sciences.

Our consultant used to work in another company before Devire. When she started working at Devire, she contacted us with an offer.

Our quote depends on the salary of the recruited professionals. We pay Devire 18% of the recruited teammate’s yearly remuneration. Overall, we’ve invested around $25,000 with Devire throughout our complete engagement.

I think Devire’s reports could have more complex and detailed information. However, the provided reports depend on the consultant we work with and the job opening they’re recruiting for. Devire usually has a good balance between simple and complex reports.

When we engaged Devire to partner with us, we aimed to hire qualified candidates quickly; they helped with that. We cooperated with three recruitment agencies to fill positions for this project, and Devire was the best by far. 

They learned our profile needs and briefed candidates so perfectly that they came in well-prepared for our interviews. Devire’s candidates knew about our company and the essential components of the role and sector they were interviewing for. They also asked great questions and shared their motivations, which was helpful. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

Working with Devire has been a good experience, and we’re satisfied with how they’ve managed our collaboration. They’re the best agency I’ve ever worked with. We’re in constant contact via email and phone.

During the recruitment process, we also had weekly catch-ups. I liked that they focused on quality over quantity of candidates. I’m the senior talent acquisition partner at a medical and pharmaceutical company. We’re one of the global healthcare leaders; we work with different divisions within the medical equipment and pharmaceutical portfolios here.

We needed to fill innovative roles for a new business unit within the organization. We wanted to conduct a recruitment process to find and integrate the candidates into our projects.

Initially, we started with a recruitment strategy. We met with Devire and their hiring manager and shared the job descriptions. During the recruitment strategy meeting, we discussed the positions, our expectations, and the potential pipeline of the candidates.

So far, we’ve already filled one placement. Devire continues the process for the other positions within our products. We’ll be responsible for the candidates’ onboarding and training.

So far, the process has gone well. The person we’ve hired through Devire will join us at the beginning of March. Since the positions we need to fill require specific talent, our collaboration with Devire is quite meaningful. Devire gives great business insights, and we’re very satisfied with their work with each candidate, including meetings, descriptions, and reports.

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always on time, and our collaboration with Magdalena is excellent; she provides feedback every day. Devire updates the database of candidates daily, and we have contact with them a few times per week. We also receive a summary of the activities they’ve done so far.

We have different communication channels, including email and phone calls. We also have regular meetings with them.

This project was important for me because we previously couldn’t find candidates for our roles. Some people would respond to our recruitment announcement, while others wouldn’t. Devire made it easy for us to find candidates through their database. 

On top of that, the two people I cooperated with were great, professional, and knowledgeable about the Polish job market. As a result, we had an easy collaboration. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

Devire delivered everything on time and within our budget. To communicate, we had a weekly meeting about the people they’d invited, who accepted the recruitment invite, and how many rejected it. We used phones, Teams, and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by their understanding of our needs. Even if we were searching for a candidate for a highly specific position, they were able to find people with the right competencies. 

On top of that, they provided us with information about why some of them rejected our invitation for interviews. This was valuable for me since it told us about our company’s branding, what we should do or improve, and how the market paid for such positions.

There was only one occasion where we had to terminate an employee’s contract after the probationary period because they weren’t well matched to our company. Overall, it was a great partnership.

What challenge were you trying to address with Devire?

There’s a very demanding market here, and we were searching for very on-demand talent. We hired Devire to help us find big data, AI, and ML specialists. 

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Devire acts as our recruitment agency. They send me contractor candidates. We provide them with the job and team descriptions, and they approach candidates. The team also pre-screens the candidates and then sends us all their details. Sometimes we need to contact candidates throughout the process, and they handle that aspect. Regarding minor changes during the interview process, Devire is our prospects' key point of contact before we present an offer. 

After we choose a contractor, Devire is their direct employer, so they handle their payroll and other administrative activities. Currently, we have about 12 workers from Devire on our payroll, and we've contracted up to 100 people with them throughout our engagement. Some of the contractors we've hired have been our candidates, and Devire also provides payroll services for them.

When I need data from previous recruitment processes, they provide it for me ad hoc. Devire also writes articles about the contractor market and provides additional data about it when I need it.

A key account manager is our main point of contact, and we also work with around three recruiters. 

How did you come to work with Devire?

They were already our provider when I joined the company. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We work with high-demand and extremely rare profiles, so our metrics don’t involve a volume of recruitment. Even though we’re not always able to find the right candidates for our projects due to their difficulty level, Devire definitely understands what they’re doing. The profiles they send us after briefing usually match our needs. We rarely give them complete projects as we search for candidates simultaneously; since we’re looking for rare talents, we need to use all the strengths we have. However, I share at least 40% of my work with Devire to lighten the load. 

When I joined the company, we had two vendors for payroll, and Devire had more continuous communication, while the other provider was less responsive. Moreover, our contractors reported better responsiveness from Devire, meaning they were happier with them. 

How did Devire perform from a project management standpoint?

When we have a high-profile project open, we constantly communicate with weekly catch-up meetings, so I’m always informed. We mostly use emails and phone calls as tools for communication. 

As for meeting deadlines, we’re all working very hard-to-find profiles, so it’s hard to measure Devire’s success in meeting deadlines given the challenge. However, even if they don’t deliver, they tell us everything; how many people they approach, how much effort goes into the search, and how they see the market situation without sugar-coating. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Devire’s strongest point is communication. They keep candidates engaged, and they’re also very responsive to our queries. I can call them whenever I need them, and they always pick up the phone. The team delivers answers or solutions for every request. Moreover, our communication is always pleasant, so we enjoy this collaboration. Overall, they’re very responsive, and their client care is at a very high level. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have the same challenges we have: a shortage of people. Devire could use more recruiters.

Although Devire is very easy to work with, you need to be responsive. When you have a client-supplier relationship, you should nurture it.

The Challenge:
We are supporting IQVIA in hiring top-notch Big Data, AI and ML IT specialist. Our part of the job is to find on-demand candidates, also contractors, and perform pre-screening. Our agile approach gives our Client a possibility to change the scope of each recruitment process and required actions on our side.

### Scaling up the R&D department
The Challenge: 
Delivering some top-notch candidates to fill R&D roles is always a challenge. We teamed up with LEK-AM to help them scale up one of the most crucial departaments. Our role was to introduce a bespoke sourcing process and deliver high quality contacts for our Client to proceed. 
The Result:
Throughout our 12 months long cooperation we introduced LEK- AM with 6-8 quality candiates to interview, although our agreement provided for delivering 3 description matching profiles.

### Expanding the geographical footprint
How we work:
In line with Logicworks' needs, we have built a recruitment team for the client to support them in finding candidates for key technical roles.
Our process is based on sourcing and screening candidates, from which we create a list of individuals who match the client's competency and budget requirements. We transfer the candidate pool created in this way to Logicworks.
Our team also provides support for payroll services.
The partnership with Logicworks has resulted in 4 hires in key positions for the company's geographic growth. From the outset, feedback on the fit of the candidates to their roles and to the client's organization has been very positive.


### A multi-departament recruitment
The Challenge:
Our cooperation with Janssen Poland covers providing candidates from various areas - marketing and sales, as well as the medical field. Our goal is not only to deliver the best, open to work candidates but also to attract them to our Client's brand. We are responsillbe for market mapping, sourcing and screening some of the top quality talents.

Since November 2013 we are continuously supporting Janssen in performing successful recruitment processes, resulting in numerous hirings for demanded roles.
