What was the scope of their involvement?

eAccountable provided paid search, affiliate marketing, and marketplace management services. The team was responsible for managing and maintaining our Amazon storefront and Google Ads campaigns. When we started to work eAccountable, they provided the same services for the company we acquired. We continued with that service and added an extra brand for the team to manage. When I left my company, we were considering expanding our engagement with eAccountable to other brands.

We worked with four teammates from eAccountable: an account manager, a PPC professional, an affiliate marketing professional, and an Amazon professional.

We acquired a company that was already working with eAccountable, so we took over that partnership for all our agencies.

We spent $15,000 monthly, around $150,000–$180,000 per year.

We worked together from May 2022–July 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

During our engagement with eAccountable, our Amazon business doubled. On the PPC side, we saw a 10%–15% improvement in our overall paid search costs. The affiliate marketing side wasn't a big part of our strategy. eAccountable exceeded our expectations and understood our business well. eAccountable worked like an extension of our company instead of operating independently. The team understood our entire marketing strategy and funnel business, including our work in other channels. We had a good relationship with eAccountable.

How did eAccountable perform from a project management standpoint?

eAccountable delivered on time and within budget. The team communicated well via phone calls, Zoom, and email. We collaborated via Google Docs.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Jason was a great strategic partner. He managed our day-to-day operations regarding PPC and affiliate marketing. He was down to earth and allowed us to test things. Jason understood our business and was part of our team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

eAccountable was always on time and functional. The team had a lot of new ideas to implement.

Are there any areas they could improve?

eAccountable could do more work in other areas, such as paid social media marketing. However, the team delivered strong results for the work we brought to them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about your business strategy, goals, and outcomes. Ensure that you have clear internal goals and objectives. When we worked with eAccountable, our business goals changed through the company acquisition. We had to reset our success expectations for the paid search strategy because we wanted to see more profitability. Come in with a clear understanding of what you want eAccountable to deliver, whether it's cost optimization or revenue growth because that will determine the team's work.

They updated our amazon store front, including new graphics for the entire store front.  In addition they created Amazon + listings for our products, organized our products, listed them for us, then ran ads on the products.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We held a weekly meeting to go over sales numbers, and all other numbers associated with ads and the spending around that.  We had a goal at the beginning of our time together, that was our base at the start then we adjusted as we went along.

Yes! They always delivered items on time or ahead of time.  Anytime we had a request or needed something they were always quick to accommodate.

No, they did a great job in my opinion.

I manage the marketing and branding here and was tasked with finding a company that could manage our Amazon sales. Thankfully eAccountable came up in my search on Clutch.co and we ended up making the decision to go with eAccountable.

We were in dire need of finding someone who could consistently grow our product sales on Amazon. We had hired and fired a couple of other agencies since I started working in this role here.

We placed a tight RFP out to a handful of sellers and found some were overpriced based on what was listed on clutch.com.

Some audited our site (though not part of the request), others really dove into the categories our products we were currently selling, perfect!

Some, who were smaller, had their CEOs call on us, larger had their national sales managers call on us.

Our sales have been increasing monthly and they have been doing a great job of writing our A+ content and updating our images.

We ended up with a great account manager whom we really mesh well with and with whom we have great communication.

The knowledgable staff and team.

We hired eAccountable to take over our marketing efforts. Our goal was to attract more clients and build upon our online presence.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

eAccountable helped us with our marketing as a whole. Initially, we met with them and discussed our business and needs. We also provided them with the guidelines of what we wanted and how we wanted to move forward, and they helped us create an entire marketing plan around that.

eAccountable also helped us with our SEO and social media marketing, and they created a few ads for Facebook and Instagram. We also launched ads on Yahoo and Google. After that, we started doing affiliate marketing, for which they helped us set up everything we needed. These efforts included having people share links to our site to drive traffic.

We worked with around five people from eAccountable, including the project manager, who was our main point of contact, and a couple of IT people.

A client of ours recommended them to us. They had utilized them to market their business more, so we decided to get in touch with them to see what they could offer.

We started doing business with them in mid-September 2021, and we wrapped up our project in July 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

eAccountable’s work was amazing. Within three months of working with them, our traffic had increased by around 20%, and we’ve been getting more and more clients ever since. Overall, they did their job successfully.

How did eAccountable perform from a project management standpoint?

eAccountable performed extremely well. We always kept in touch, and they gave us constant updates. They continuously told us what they were doing, and we gave them feedback about the results we were getting. We used Asana for project management and phone and email for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

eAccountable’s most impressive skill is that they deal with all types of companies. From small to large companies, they always feel everyone deserves good marketing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there really isn’t anything they could improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Follow up with them as much as possible; communication between both parties is definitely important. They want to let you know what they’re doing, and you want to let them know how their work is turning out.

We've successfully launched our affiliate program thanks the hard work of Eaccountable.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We would have bi-weekly check-ins to discuss new opportunities, performance, and best practices. All team members were extremely knowledgeable and able to bring new ideas and opportunities to the table.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to advise our particular tough industry. We have a lot of restrictions from the FDA that makes affiliate marketing much more strenuous than your average consumer goods industry. With their help we were able to stay compliant and expand our content around popular web channels.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Having not have run an affiliate program before, I don't know what could have been done differently or better.

I’m the digital marketing manager at Beretta USA. Our company is part of Beretta Holding Group which has a series of firearm manufacturing companies that distributes globally.

We needed help with our advertising restrictions since we’re in the firearms industry. Apart from that, we also needed to promote our brand values and maximize our conversion opportunities for sales of soft goods and ultimately firearms goods.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Basically, eAccountable serves as our affiliate marketing and paid search partner for our soft goods. They’re also going to be our paid search partners for our gallery business, and we’re also planning to start a firearms affiliate program with the team.

Since they were already working with our company when I joined, I started our collaboration by giving the team a lot more structure, insight, and availability. That involved looking at the core competencies of what we wanted to achieve, improving communication flows, and rationalizing the relationship to maximize efforts on both sides. 

Within our engagement, they research prospective partners for our business. We also work with them to look for market opportunities, collective partners, and shared partners. In connection with that, they work closely with publishing partners to enhance our brand and customer reach and to find product reviews for us as well. 

They also conduct a lot of research about our market space where we can benefit collectively. Then, they bring the opportunities back to us, whether it’s an influencer, a blog, a writer, or a forum. We’ve also had discussions on expanding the services they offer from affiliate onto the page search site, and to further develop it into the different business units of the Beretta Group.

We have an account manager we’ve been working with for three years. We also work with a senior account manager, and our company occasionally works with eAccountable’s president. 

How did you come to work with eAccountable?

I inherited them as a vendor in 2019 when I joined the company. They had a working relationship with the person that was in the seat before me, but I don’t know how they were originally found.  

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested more than $100,000 per year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2016, and the partnership’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In terms of return on ad spend (ROAS), we’ve managed to achieve a $10 dollar return for every $1 we’ve invested. As such, across our affiliate network, we have a strong return on our investment. We’re also excited to growing those metrics with eAccountable.

How did eAccountable perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication-wise, we reach out to them through phone calls, video conferences, emails, and face-to-face whenever possible. We highly appreciate the eAccountable team’s ability to bring opportunities to our company. They’re proactive, always available, and have a well-structured organization.  

We’ve had regular business trips to meet eAccountable’s executive team and management group. Moreover, we’ve had reviews on a quarterly basis. Overall, we’ve got a good working relationship on both the eAccountable’s executive and strategic level. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We've been impressed that they’re invested in our industry and that they have people within their team that understand our market space. Moreover, we like that they diversify their services and always identify opportunities on how they can support us at all levels.

From a project management perspective, they can have software or a system that can centralize and track all documents or communications. Right now, a lot of our communication is over email, but having one tool where everything can be visible will help things be more streamlined.

Be clear about your needs, your budget, and what you want to deliver. If you can give that, eAccountable will do their best to provide great services to your company.

Our affiliate manager at eAccountable is amazing! He is very friendly, smart and proactive. I appreciate that he's always straight forward with expectations and timelines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They really seem to care about us as clients and always keep our business at the top of their minds. The CEO typically jumps on a call with us at least once a year, which is great!

Their strengths are that they really know our business in and out and are always on top of everything. Compared to our other agency, they seem to really be on their game. I rarely ever have to follow up with them on things. With other vendors, I can sometimes feel just like a number vs. a top-of-mind client. That is not the case with eAccountable.

It would be nice to have formal plans/strategies put together for each "season" to review as opposed to approving publishers/ideas on the fly or as they come.
