For nearly four decades, NEJM Journal Watch has helped clinicians like you stay informed with expert insights and perspectives from trusted colleagues. As your time gets more precious than ever amid a torrent of algorithmically delivered information, that mission isn’t changing. What is changing is how we deliver it.
NEJM Clinician is more than a new name for Journal Watch; it’s a more intuitive, mobile-friendly experience that lets you find what matters most, faster. Our editors will continue to distill key findings from the world’s leading medical journals and deliver practice-ready insights (see ).
While our coverage remains the same, we now present it in a way that fits the rhythm of your week. “This Week’s Edition” highlights our most clinically relevant stories in a weekly email alert and on our home page, and is meant to be finished in minutes. From there, you can dive into topics that match your field and interests or that answer your current clinical questions.
We’ve also added new ways to see, hear, and learn in NEJM Clinician. Clinical Conversations bring experts together in short video discussions about new research and what it means for patient care. NEJM Quick Take videos and Research Summaries turn original NEJM studies into stories you can watch or read in minutes. And to grow your foundational knowledge, we provide case reports, clinical images, and reviews carefully curated from the NEJM family of journals. I’ve found the bookmarking tool surprisingly useful; it’s become my own small library of articles and insights I want to return to.
Thank you for reading and for growing with us, and please let us know how we’re doing: You know where we live!
