i dont get how you can get the ole quest to trigger, ive asked ole several time about his habbit of cleaning but i just dont see how i trigger it, help anyone?

people might have answered this before, but there arent enough steps to get to the pedestal? ive tried everything there is to do. do you need a axe or something to get rid of the pebbles?
