     After searching and asking here, I finally bought my welder. I was leaning towards the Hobart 187, but instead went with the Lincoln 140C Power Mig. Its a 120 volter, so I dont need any new lines installed to the garage. Now, I just have to learn how to use it!

     Another idea I heard but haven't tried is getting a 240 volt fan. It should run at half the speed of the 120 volter.

     I have the 5590, which is the multi-volt, black face Euro version. It says on back that it consumes 1200 watts of energy at full rated power output, eek! I do have a 1250 too, but it's just the 120 Volter.

     i have run the water heater and handywash and they work and will use them till i can afford to upgrade them i think. The microwave is a 240 volter that runs off a massive inverter that i assume this will really pull my batteries power down ,so i have removed the microwave ,i am leaving the inverter in place though as i`m sure it will be useful for something .
